What we do

We are exploring God’s direction for us so we can be intentional and relevant to the people living in and near the Hackham area. We are actively involved at the Good Start Early learning center and Junction Community Centre on Collins Parade. We are excited about the possible connections to develope community garden networks to promote food security in the Southern Suberbs.

Connection Cafe is a place to connect face to face with each other, and with God. It is a great place to meet with family or friends for a great coffee or home style snack, and is affordable too. Just pay the donation you wish. We are open Monday mornings from 10am to 12pm.

Our older youth and young adults meet during school term to foster a genuine, personal faith through studying God’s word and living life together. Activities are a combination of socials and bible study and vary throughout the term. We have a facebook page of the same name detailing events and study times. Call or txt Brayden on 0406 682 505 for more details.

Take what you need- Give what you can. We are keen to reduce waste and share gardening and food knowledge, so have joined the Grow Free network of food sharing carts. With all our backyard space plus a fully equipped kitchen, we hope this will be an idea that can really grow! If growing things is your passion – you might want to join our group that is starting a community garden. Our cart can be found near the second entrance off O’Halloran Lane and is available 24 hours.

All within the church are involved in looking out for each another.  However, a small team of pastoral carers takes seriously the care of those within our Church family to ensure that their needs are met.  For more information contact Sue Gourlay on 0413 329 391

As part of our pastoral care ministry we conduct regular services at the Holly Aged Care at 24 Penney’s Hill Road, Hackham on the first and second Sunday afternoons each month from 2.30pm.

CRAFTY Critters

Every Thursday during School Term we meet at 9.30 for craft activities such as knitting, card making and sewing. It is a time to meet new people, learn new skills and complete some projects, and is open to everyone. A men’s bible study runs during this time. The contact for this group is Betty Cook on 0404 065 816
